Tangled yoke cardigan syksyn IKsta valmistuu hitaasti, mutta... hitaasti. Lankana on ihana Rowanin Felted Tweed, purettu vanhasta keskeneräisestä työstä ja suoristettu.
This is Tangled yoke Cardigan from the Fall IK, progessing slowly but steadily. The yarn is Rowan Felted tweed as in the original pattern, frogged and straightened from an UFO.
Kuvassa eräs syy siihen, miksi pidän neulomisesta. Prosessin itsensä takia. Nautin todella ohjeen seuraamisesta, hetkessä neulomisesta.... On joka kerta yhtä ihmeelistä ( jos sitä tarkkaan miettisi) miten ihmeessä kahdella teroitetulla puikolla voidaan luoda keritystä langsta ihan oikea vaatekappale.
i enjoy knitting for the process of it. I don't mind knitting for housr and then putting the sweater away.I enjoy following a well-written pattern, just "knitting in the moment". Its always a delight to see how two pointy sticks and a lenght of yarn create a real piece of clothing
Nautin siis teknisien neuleisen tekemisestä. Aikaisemmin neuloin EZ ohjeella neuleen hieman samaan tapaan. Tällä kertaa harjoittelin tekniikakkuvien ottamista. Kuvassa siis "knit 2 tog" jolla liitetään etukpl ja hiha toisiinsa. Pinkillä on päätelty kainaloon jäävät avoimet silmukat, ja neule jatkuu edestakaisin pyörönä.
I enjoy learning and experimenting with new techniques. I have knitted an EZ yoke sweater, but I gave it away as a gift. This time around I wanted to practice taking progress photos. Featured in the picture is a knit 2 tog, joining the sleeve to the body of the sweater. The pink yarn is just scrap yarn keeping the underarm stitches until they are grafted together.
